words become knitting

Interpretations is the way we play with our knitting and our minds. We take a word and we use it as a launchpad to design 2 different patterns, one by each of us.

Welcome to Interpretations, Volume 10! It's hard to believe we've reached such a milestone in our journey together. As we reflect on the past year, we're filled with a sense of excitement and freedom that comes with trying new things and embracing change.

One of the biggest changes for us has been the decision to publish smaller, more frequent collections. This has given us the opportunity to explore different themes and designs with greater flexibility and creativity. We've been enjoying the freedom to express ourselves in new ways and push the boundaries of our knitting skills.

But it's not just about the knitting. This past year has brought us together in so many ways. We've seen each other in different places, shared new experiences, and created memories that will last a lifetime. As we always say Interpretations is not just about the knitting patterns, but also about the journey and the connections we make along the way.

The photos for this collection were shot on a gloomy day in the medieval town of Torla Ordessa, where we had a memorable hiking adventure. Despite the weather, the beauty of the surroundings and the joy of being together made it a truly special experience. It reminded us that even in challenging times, there is beauty and magic to be found if we keep our hearts open and our spirits adventurous.

This collection features four designs - two sweaters, a triangular shawl, and a rectangular wrap - that we believe are not just fun to knit, but also timeless staples that will enhance anyone's wardrobe. Each design reflects our shared passion for knitting and our commitment to creating pieces that are both beautiful and functional.

To all our dear readers, we are incredibly grateful for your continued support and for being a part of our journey. We hope that you will find joy in knitting these patterns as much as we did in creating them. Thank you for your unwavering support and enthusiasm.

Here's to more adventures, more creativity, and more connections. We're thrilled to be getting closer to you and sharing our love for knitting with each new volume of Interpretations.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Joji and Veera
